John Neal, pastor

John received his degree in Theology from Eastern Mennonite college in 1981, his MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary in 1985, and his DMin from Westminster in Pastoral Counseling in 1985. In 1998 John accepted a call from Covenant Presbyterian to serve as our Teaching Elder and Pastor. John is married to Shirley and they have 6 children, 2 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, and 3 grandchildren. John's goal for Covenant is discipleship in the truth of the gospel, teaching all those placed under his care to follow Christ whole-heartedly and faithfully in all spheres of life so that they in turn can witness the gospel to their children and others around them. For John, church, the body of Christ is meant to be like a family, where each person comes and gives, serving a unified body to the glorification of God. Read more...
